Story-Driven Adult Film

A lot of this starts with the ordinary middle-aged male mind, including my own.

Ageing changes how a man is seen long before desire necessarily changes with it. Attraction, fantasy and curiosity can remain remarkably stubborn, while older male sexuality is often viewed through a lens of sleaze, entitlement or abuse.

Those things are not the same.

I’m interested in what remains when coercion and entitlement are removed and only fantasy, attraction, shame, curiosity and mutual choice are left.

But the man’s fantasy is only half the story.

I’m just as interested in the woman on the other side of it.

What do you actually see when you look at him? What do you assume? What attracts you, what doesn’t, what makes you curious, uncomfortable, amused, excited or completely indifferent?

You are not there to prove his fantasy right. Your reaction is part of the work, whatever that reaction turns out to be.

What happens when you knowingly step into something you might never normally have imagined yourself inside?

For me, the work is part fantasy-building, part art and part experiment.

Sometimes the two perspectives meet. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes fantasy survives reality. Sometimes it collapses completely. Sometimes something neither person expected appears instead.

That difference is where things become interesting.

Some of the films are made for men who recognise that private world. But at the same time, the work examines the fantasy itself, the man carrying it, and the woman who chooses to meet it from the other side.

What did the mind predict? What did the body actually experience? Did anything change? What remained exactly the same?

That is probably one of the clearest explanations of why these films exist.
